‘A Retrospective’ By Liz Kilby

Published

The Henry was proud to present ‘A Retrospective’ by Liz Kilby. ????

It all began when Liz admired her friend’s handbag, which was made out of leather. When her friend showed Liz how to make one herself, she instantly fell in love with the art and went on to study at The School of Art and bookbinding at Canberra Technical College.

Recently, Liz showcased her stunning leatherwork, which she has been perfecting for decades, at The Henry clubhouse. The exhibition featured some of Liz’s precious leatherwork, including purses, wallets, belts, and bags, all of which were crafted with incredible skill and attention to detail.

Visitors to the exhibition were amazed by the quality of the leatherwork on display, with many remarking on the intricate stitching, beautiful finishes, and impressive designs. Liz was on hand to answer questions and share stories about her creative process.
