The Henry Cooking Group

Each month our cooking group gather in the kitchenette at The Henry clubhouse to make a delicious recipe or two. Last month we taste tested some delicious dumplings. It was great to see the residents working as a team, sharing their cooking secrets and learning new cooking skills.

Do you know that cooking is a mood booster? Cooking helps to reduce stress by bringing forward your positive memories and emotions. Cooking is a cognitive activity that requires hand-eye coordination. Therefore cooking can elevate your mood or help you relax.
